ingredients
- 1 c. Tomato puree
- 1/3 c. Brown sugar
- 2 Tbsp. Dijon mustard
- 1/4 c. Red wine vinegar
- 1/2 c. Mezzetta® Roasted Red Bell Peppers, drained
- 1/4 c. Mezzetta® Deli-Style Mild Pepper Rings, drained
- 1/4 c. Onion, chopped
- 6 ea Garlic cloves, chopped
- 2 Tbsp. Orange juice
- 1 Tbsp. Chili powder
- 1 c. Beef or chicken stock
- 1 ea Bay leaf
- Salt and pepper to taste

preparation
1. In a blender, puree all ingredients except bay leaf, until smooth.
2. Place sauce in a sauce pan, add bay leaf and cook for about 25 to 30 minutes over medium-low heat. Taste and adjust seasoning.
3. Ready to serve with your favorite grilled foods.
Notes: A very simple sauce that will pair with your favorite barbequed foods, or even grilled oysters. A great tool for the home cook.
